It’s illustrated by a bevy of touching and hilarious clips and outtakes, never-before-seen home movies, narration from Wilder’s audiobook memoir, and interviews with a roster of brilliant friends and collaborators like Mel Brooks, Alan Alda, and Carol Kane. R — Inspired by the unbelievable true story, a strait-laced professor (Glen Powell) uncovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man in undercover police stings. He meets his match in a client (Adria Arjona) who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities. (Netflix, June 24th Premiere)

TV-MA — In this action thriller, Jessica Alba stars as a skilled Special Forces commando who takes ownership of her beloved father’s bar after he suddenly dies. She soon finds herself at odds with a violent gang running rampant in her hometown and uncovers a dangerous conspiracy. (Netflix, June 21st Premiere)

TV-14 — This Star Wars Original series will introduce viewers to the High Republic Era, a time when the Jedi Order was at its height, but the Sith lurked in the shadows. The Acolyte inverts the typical formula of the franchise since this is the story of the Sith as they rise up against the Jedi — not the other way around. (Disney+, June 4th Premiere)

TV-MA — In Season 5 of this series, Dave sits down with Grammy winner Miley Cyrus and basketball icon Charles Barkley for a fresh set of revealing interviews about their lives and careers. Each season of this talk show, which launched in 2018, has been nominated for the Emmy for hosted nonfiction series or special. (Netflix, June 12th Premiere)

TV-MA — Jake Gyllenhaal stars in and executive produced this eight-part limited series. Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Scott Turow, it takes viewers on a gripping journey through the horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorneys’ office when chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich (played by Gyllenhaal) is suspected of the crime. The series explores obsession, sex, politics, and the power and limits of love, as the accused fights to hold his family and marriage together. (Apple TV+, June 12th Premiere)

PG — Everybody should watch this feel-good movie from 2017 at least once. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by R.J. Palacio, it tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August (Auggie) Pullman, who was born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his new classmates and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out. Wonder stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson as Auggie’s parents, Jacob Tremblay as Auggie, and Mandy Patinkin as the school principal. (Netflix, June 8th Premiere)

PG — With Tokyo under siege from rising monster attacks, baseball star Ken Sato reluctantly returns home to take on the mantle of #Ultraman. But the titanic superhero meets his match when he reluctantly adopts a 35-foot-tall, fire-breathing baby kaiju. Sato must rise above his ego to balance work and parenthood while protecting the baby from forces bent on exploiting her for their own dark plans. (Netflix, June 14th Premiere)

TV-Y7 — When thrill-seeker Cricket tricks his family into taking a “road trip” in space, chaos in the cosmos quickly ensues! Despite growing frustrations between Cricket and his dad, Bill, the two must learn to appreciate each other’s unique perspectives in order to prevent Big City from being destroyed by an interstellar disaster. (Disney+, June 6th Premiere)

PG — Directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, this documentary gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness. Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit. (Prime Video, June 25th Premiere)

TV-MA — In this true-crime documentary, a brilliant and charismatic rebel in 1990s Seattle, Scott Scurlock, pulls off an unprecedented string of bank robberies straight out of the movies. In fact, law enforcement officials gave him the nickname Hollywood. But like so many heist movies, the good times couldn’t last forever. (Netflix, June 5th Premiere)

NR — If you were coming of age in the 1980s, the Brat Pack was near the center of your cultural awareness. But for those experiencing the Brat Pack from the inside, it was something quite different. Director Andrew McCarthy reunites with Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, and more for this original documentary. (Hulu, June 13th Premiere)
