2016 Scholarships

Every year, Marquette-Adams awards scholarships to graduating seniors and students furthering their education in the surrounding school districts. These students receive a scholarship in the amount of $1500, to be claimed after a successful semester of continuing education. This year, the Cooperative would like to congratulate the following eight recipients:

The 2016 Marquette-Adams Cooperative Scholarship Winners are:

Monica Ueck-Adams Friendship High School
Victoria Timme: Portage High School
Leigh Huber: Westfield High School
Mariah Burk: Westfield High School
Erik Fredrick (Portage)-Edgewood College
Jacob Krueger (Westfield)-Iowa State University
Matthew Hicks (Portage): UW Eau Claire

To be eligible for a scholarship, the student and/or student's parents, foster parents or legal guardians must be a permanent resident of the Marquette-Adams Telephone Cooperative's serving area and have local telephone service with the Cooperative, be a long distance customer with the Cooperative, or have Internet service with the Cooperative.
